Gori to Tbilisi

Gori is apparently proud to claim Stalin as its most famous son. His home for the first 4 years of his life is now enshrined beneath marble arches and his soviet era statue still stands defiently in front of tgheir administartive building. We cuouldn't resist the temptation of snatching a unique photo, so with military precision we drove onto the forecourt, took our shots and left before anyone could react.

From Gori a good road runs to Tblisi which we reached with no problems. A 36 hr break here to explore the city.
